The first time I was introduced to luxury goods was back when I sold silver and gold jeweleries. It was roughly 10 years ago and during that time, I had absolutely no interest in any business that revolves around luxury goods. I probably had an idea what Chanel or Louis Vuitton was, and I remembered having the gorgeous Chanel Jumbo Classic Flap as my dream bag, and it costed around Rp. 30 million during that time. One time when my husband went to work overseas, I remembered asking him to buy me the bag, though instead, he gave me a number of cash and told me to buy it by myself. But unfortunately, the money wasn’t enough to buy the Jumbo Classic Flap, so this became one of those aha! moments.

My husband told me to use the money wisely, which resulted into the words of wisdom that got me inspired. I searched all over my closet to find some unused, good-conditioned handbags from Gucci and Louis Vuitton. I decided to take a little bit of my time and effort to start taking detailed pictures, learn about the authenticity of each brand and item, and many more small things to do. It did take me a lot of time, but the result was surely worth the effort. It earned me extra money to go and buy my dream bag, and not only that, it was one of those decisions you will never regret.

From that point on, I discovered that from selling bags, we can fulfill our pleasure in using luxurious goods, get bigger social networks, explore different social circle, and many more advantages. It opened my mind about how beneficial this business can be, I can always work at home, meet my daughters every time they go back from school, without having to work late hours every week and go home tired. One of the best parts is that I can always travel to Europe to shop luxurious goods, enjoy my passion in travelling and explore different kinds of places around the world.

The most important thing I learned from my job is that both luxurious goods is my job and my passion. With becoming a reseller and an investment consultant for luxurious goods, I am proud to say that I love my job. It brings me joy, pleasure, and lots of travelling, which has been a hobby of mine since I started earning money for myself.
